All Along

GREENSAND COUNTRY LOTTERY HERITAGE FUND ‘All Along’ refers to a sewn binding of books, and to the idea of moving through and along the Greensands ridge, reflecting the story of the area through its geology, nature and people that have lived within in. ARTWORKS: FIELDWORK 1: Passerine SMALL BIRDS 38mm slide box, collage, card. Inspired by naturalist Emily Shore, and using data on species of small song birds recorded at Kings and Maudlen Woods, Apsley Guise and Woburn Sands. A collection of birds displayed in a 35mm slide storage box. This is a visual survey mimicking museum collection display, and referring to our passion for collecting and vital work tracking the rise and loss of species.
