Always Coming Back To The House

By  Sue Mann 2015

This project focused on the wallpapers at Goddards in York, the 1927 Arts and Crafts former family home of Noel Terry designed by local architect Walter Brierley. Inspired by Lewis Carroll's 'Through the Looking Glass', a favourite of the Terry children, the exhibition comprised a video artwork projected onto the wall of one of the children's rooms, alongside selected drawings and sketchbooks that explored the conversation between the house and garden.
