Anheddiad I

By Andrew Coomber 2015

Dimensions
100 x 100

Mixed media on canvas. One of a series of wall works for 2 solo exhibitions in 2016. During research for the Denbigh Bardic Crown a pilot friend flew me along the Clwydian range. This was a significant event in the development in my exploration of mam's relationship to the land and the marks he makes on it. Themes not only of agriculture but archaeology cartography, geology and mythology can be explored more readily by 'loosing' the horizon. The title of this work is Welsh for 'Settlement'
