Commissioned by the Farmer's Union of Wales the design reflects the integration of engineering/ agriculture in the landscape of the Vale of Clwyd. Materials - precious white metal, anodised and dyed aluminium, crystal glass, fabric and industrial fixings. The production of the crown was run as an educational project with Applied Art Degree students from Glyndwr University Wrexham. The Arts Council of Wales and the University sponsored a 12 minute film by Chris Qakley recording it's making
