Apple Orchard 8.19

By  Bob Budd 2015
Installation under an apple orchard in the Kurpark, Bad Schlema, Germany. Granite rocks (about 30 to 35 tons) It takes around 8 minutes and 19 seconds for the light from the sun to reach the apple orchard, having traveled some 93 million miles in order for the apples (and everything else) to be able to grow. How to mark such a collosal and spectacular feat of Nature when it constantly passes by unnoticed?
