A project with Sough Museum to re-invent Slough using old archive images as inspiration. Slough was renowned as a place that always wanted to be seen as modern, to transfom its image. This resulted in many building of value being replaced by modern buildings. I wanted to explore the tranistion from old to new and used the rare images of photos of buildings in progress as a starting point to engage local people in a new way of looking at Slough
Interventions in the museum space, recreation of museum display cases specifically for the show. Walls of photos with collage interventions. Printed photoshoped archival images and sculptural interventions in and through the space of the gallery (dimensions large room and window display)
