A screen, mounted on the gallery wall, is permanently connected to the Internet and displays a grid of 8,170 rectangles. Each one can be remotely occupied by a gallery visitor who is then asked to invite 5 friends to do the same. Social networking causes the work to develop and information about it to digitally spread out of the gallery.
Part of the Rules of the Game series of 5 curated exhibitions at the Surface Gallery, Nottingham, UK.
The gallery based screen was on show at the Surface Gallery from 19th April - 19th May and is visible online, indefinitely, at artworkornetwork.com
