Balanced-Earth Floating Garden

By Karen Whiterod 2021
A collection of suspended plant-mobiles. All made from waste materials from previous work, either recycling offcuts or repurposing "minimum order" excess. Materials may also have been found or given. Vessel frames made from CDs, wire from bee-hive supers, fishing rope from beaches and many other materials. Vessels are light-weight, rigid and resilient as made from paper pulp using my own recipe, devised from experimenting over a three year timespan. This creates microporous vessels allowing water to transpire so they can hold trailing succulent plants. More information about these can be found at www.balanced-earth.co.uk
