This painting is a constructed with two hinged panels which when closed depicts an interior of an apartment with a self-portrait painted as the reflections in the "glass doors". The opening of these doors reveals more of the painting; the interior of the house. The opening door panels thus give the painting an extra dimension and with it the suggestion of a drama unfolding. Winner of the People's Prize Manchester Academy, 1998.
