Bath

Inflated waterproof fabric, in the shape of a bath, with large gold taps, both hot water. Overall colour luminous pink, gestural painterly lines in black. Design incorporates an air conditioning fan, and was sited on the town hall balcony in Bishop Auckland. The work humorously reflects on the mundane rituals of daily life by elevating the bathtub to the status of icon.
