Exterior banner. Robin Hood, the bronze statue, outside Nottingham castle, having his revenge on an American tourist (ie firing his bow and arrow at her behind). The tourist, or Maid Marion, is dressed in tartan kilt, attempting to find her Scottish roots. The work highlights the sometimes uneasy dynamic between Britain's historical past and the tourist industry which keeps it alive. Luminous brightly coloured fabric, appliquéd on canvas, waterproof.
