Bird Dancer

A bearded man dancing with a bird part of from Beards to Bananas From Beards to Bananas is all about the naive but fantastically weird power of creativity. It is unrestricted by art theory and good/fine taste. Most of the work has been planned and conceived together with my 7-year old daughter Delphine, born 2014, and some of the work has been highly inspired by her. This series is not so much about creating art, it is rather about playing with oil paint, brushes on canvas. I see art as an intention to create art, and nothing more. With these paintings the intention was to have fun, to do something together with my daughter, a part of her homeschooling.
