Bishop's Art Prize

Unexpected blessings and second attempts The Bishop's Art prize came at a time in the middle of my Master's in which I found an unexpected blessing of voice, not necessarily mine, or hers, but ours. Searching and uncovering - pulling at the seams had brought me back to a place in which I felt (re)connected with the women who had given me the most, and the woman in my self that would continue to give me more. The year before I had failed to be accepted as a shortlisted artist, and this like many other things came at the right time, a year later in a new space and in a new frame of mind.
