Boat Trip: Nothing but flowers

An investigation of the margins of the Manchester Ship Canal presented as live, public boat trips. The passengers' view of the bank was juxtaposed with a live video relay (i.e. a mediated version) of the same view. At selected locations this live relay was interrupted by pre-recorded sequences and live commentary. The sequences were constructed from our activities and encounters on the ground. As with any boat trip the commentary included fact and fiction. Further perspectives on this evolving, multi-layered environment were added by local voices, a record of our light along the canal and a dive into it.
