body kenopsia : PEM 

Kenopsia: the uneasy feeling you get from an abandoned and empty place that was once filled with life.

PEM: Post Exertional Malaise, an acceleration of symptoms after exertion often experienced by people with disabilities and chronic illnesses. The experience is described as feeling poisoned, severely fatigued and with increased pain amongst many other symptoms. 

I never imagined drawing to become a part of my practice past using it as a tool to plan other works but recently it has become a really accessible bed-based format to work in. Drawing has become a cathartic method of expressing the body chaos and medical mysticism I experience in isolation.
