Bust of Canadian WWI Hero 'Billy' Bishop

Commissioned by the Toronto Port Authority for the former Toronto Island Airport now renamed Billy Bishop Airport, this is bronze bust of a Canadian flying ace who flew against the famous German 'Red Baron'. I had very small, old photos to work from, and loved the end result in both clay and then cast in bronze.
