Carriage Piece

A box with glass front and back, this piece is reminiscent in form of a carriage clock. Inside a quail's egg is suspended in birds' claw sugar tongs above more quails' eggs. Portrait images are suspended on string above a jumble of strings. In the centre, separating eggs from portraits, is a screen of glass etched with a family tree.
