The piece was made during my residency at Watts Gallery and sited on the grass near the main gallery entrance. It uses three lines from Christina Rossetti’s poem Goblin Market. I have tried here to evoke something of the fascination, movement and menace of the Goblin Men. Squeezing, stretching and curving the words to create a representation of their approach.
Hand cut Birch Faced plywood and Red Wood Preservative.
