Come out of the Darkness

With the work evolving over the period of a year, ‘Come out of the darkness’ is a multi medium installation which plays with and responds to site, in this case a working studio. It incorporates and reflects on ideas of ritual, escape, transcendence and transformation. The work speculates on meeting points between the human made and natural systems, their entanglement, sometimes in harmony, sometimes in tension. Whilst the work alludes to both the past and the now, through resolutely revelling in both the spatial and psychological blurring of divisions, it also explores and contemplates alternate futures.
