Confuse Brain Exercises

By Libby Scarlett 2022 - 2024

A video showing two rolodexes generating random action and body part combinations, offering an invitation to experience the mind or body in new (possibly confusing, amusing) ways.

The action/body part words are taken from the geological text, ‘A Land’ by Jaquetta Hawkes (1950), which examines the 4500 million-year history of the earth as it’s subject.

The video was made thanks to a FluxusMuseum grant and was nominated for the FluxusMuseum Prize for Experimental Video 2024.
