Constellation - Medusa and Perseus

By  Karen Melvin 2006

Karen Farley Melvin

Silver gelatine chloro-bromide photograph. Part of a series. I like walking at night. I wanted to learn the constellations. In the mythology of the northern stars I discovered an archetypal family rich in symbolism. Still life, domestic objects and debris call up another perspective to the received myth.
