An appropriated Acrylic cylinder from the agricultural industry forms the ground for this work. Combining this aspect with a precise colour-way, with incised paper overlay, connects the piece to the interface between art and design and is analogous with systems of ‘standardisation’. The work connects with art-historical antecedents in Constructivism, Minimalism and Pop Art.
