This work is part of a series of folded A4 paper. The surface of the work seems to ripple or wrinkle giving the appearance of skin or tree bark, silver birch for instance or of a blanket or cover, linking to the function of skin or bark. From the side there is a suggestion of vents, opening pores, breathability or some sort of system, perhaps a binary code. The perspective of the layout leads to the path beyond (pic 4) leading the eye into the garden and the context of nature.
