Cragside, lastly reflects the industrial period of the North East and the Victorian Age of Enlightenment. Built on the edge of Rothbury, Northumberland, the house and gardens of Cragside incorporate William Armstrong's fascination and passion for science, engineering and horticulture. Large sheets of etched steel made using facilities at Northern Print, Newcastle have been manipulated to form a sculptural surface relief.
