Creative Jewellers on show

'Creative Jewellers on show' is a flexible association of the best independent craftsmen combining forces to generate a greater awareness of the unique work they produce. To date we have exhibited two collections - one in Amsterdam at Sieraad in December 2007, and the other at Form at Olympia in London in Spring 2008, and we are hoping these will become annual events. The collections celebrate the strength and diversity of personality in the jewellery available, encompassing the widest range of materials and techniques, and sharing only the quality of craftsmanship and commitment to creativity by the artists involved. I am proud to have gathered together artists from Japan, Australia, Germany Holland and Italy as well as from the United Kingdom and Ireland, who are all currently producing work in small studios. By presenting a richly concentrated combination of distinctive work I have been able to communicate the artistic value of the objects we make in an effective way. This has already led to greater benefits with jewellery being exhibited in art galleries, and our artists finding new outlets in London, as a direct result of our exhibition at Form.
