Cross-Border Flow

By  Janet Sang 2017
Screen print In Cross-Border Flow, debris and discarded life jackets build up and refugees crowd onto leaking boats. An absurd huddle of objects, cryptically referring to the iconic skyscrapers of the City of London, watches from the horizon. In this metaphorical landscape, and in its title, which is taken from the lexicon of financial dealings, global capitalism stands accused of indifference and of culpability for human and environmental tragedies. Printed by the artist at Volcanic Editions, Brighton on Fabriano Artistico 640gsm Edition of ten
