Cultivate and Celebrate re-visited 2021

Cultivate and Celebrate re-visited March 2021 First exhibited at Tatton Park, Cheshire, this exhibition was the culmination of a year as Artist-in-residence at Tatton Park. I worked closely with the staff in the Garden and Mansion and re-made links between the two. The kitchen garden would have fed the estate owners and workers and I created celebratory 'treasure' artworks using the food plants I studied. My exhibition was subsequently shown at Kirkby Gallery, Merseyside, and as part of their online offer Kirkby Gallery are re-visiting my exhibition this month. On Friday 5th March there will be a family friendly workshop "Grow your own smile" which is something i staged at both Tatton Park and Kirkby Gallery during the original exhibitions.
