Elephant Parade - Stop the traffic

Tom Purslow

Touring public art exhibition - travelling to UK cities from July 2013 to July 2014 Commissioned by the Asian Elephant Foundation Charity in order to raise awareness of the plight of the elephants. My elephant is entitled 'Stop the traffic' and is designed to bring a strong conservation message in an accessible way. The strong graphic images are created from recognisable road traffic signs along with my specially created versions which are specific to the problems faced by the elephants. The main image shows my elephant being filmed for BBC Northwest News - I was interviewed and shown too!
