Cymba Transtemporalis - Lyme Bay

In this painting the crew of a local Cornish gig-rowing club have been dressed in timeless, possibly Roman style clothing. They row on a sea with pliosaur nearby. Seascape is based on the familiar skyline of Lyme Bay, Dorset, with equisetum printed in the foreground, and ancient plant hat has probably been there before humans inhabited this place.
