Enclosure 1

This began as a cyanotype made from a collage of negatives of my own walled garden, in which I've spent much time during lockdown, alongside other microscopic elements and images of friends and family who have been absent. It was then painted with watercolour and ink. It is to become a page in a collective bookwork made by the artist Nina Gronw Lewis in connection with SAW and the #somersetreacquainted project initiated by artist Sara Dudman. Enclosure 1 is also the first of new current works within the Covid Blue series of 2020/2021.
