Developing the narrative in the piece 'Outpourings on an English Landscape' this piece looks at an inherited memory. Expressed through references to Rorschach tests and utilising multi-layered cordon tape the story of the garment's wearer is unfolded. No longer does the tape read 'POLICE KEEP OUT' but reveals excerpts of the internal landscape, the imagined story of the wearer, the experience of the garment; the unreadable memory left behind. The 'stains' on this garment reference the Rorschach test. Routinely used by psychologists to plot psychological wellbeing, in this piece they rise as symmetrical flooding where the seams on the dress have become undone or unravelled.
