Double Vision

Self Portrait exploring tonal contrast to create a mirror image using two layers of carved MDF and two colours of emulsion paint. 

Earthy brown to signify our grounded nature; sky blue the spiritual side.

Over 100 pieces were carved using a Hegner saw, assembled and secured to an MDF backboard.
