WORK IN PROGRESS - The Book Tree - mural for the library

A collaborative project with a local primary school to enhance the outside of their new library building. The school ran a competition to engage the children in thinking up images related to books and reading, and the winning ideas were incorporated into the final design. This project allowed every child in the school (400) to take part in the painting. The winning idea was that the library is like a tree of books, which can picked and enjoyed like a juicy, delicious fruit.
