Dropped Dome

I created and venerated a monumental unfired clay (dirt) object, clothed it in gold and supported it with a custom built scaffold structure, made only to facilitate it's fall. The object was created using 2-3 tons of extruded, recycled clay. Once dropped the facilitating structure was removed, leaving only the bare minimum of incidental clues, such as creases and folds, as to what had formed it. The clay was unfired and eventually the object became earth again.
