Seat commissioned by The London Wetland Centre to provide a multi-function socialising space for both visitors and staff at the centre. The project was part of an initiative to increase the potential for relaxation and as a meeting point. This involved the repurposing and refurbishment of the old Field Lab which had been superseded by other facilities close to the Visitor Centre.
The sinuous Eel form was ideal to create a seating area able to host several groups at once.
Capable of seating 40 people.
Constructed from Welsh grown Douglas Fir.
