Emerging from the Earth / Hope

The brushwork is fluid, land moves and changes as bright strokes emerge from the earth. The work symbolises moments of awakening (the visual language of the brush-stroke is a key signifier for a person embodying within a moment of time, transformation which corresponds also to a moment which changes eternity, in many of my works) which change the resonance, meaning and function of life (where self, society and land are not separate, life is non-duality).
