Ephemeras

For her solo exhibition Ephemeras at the Conductors Hallway Dupré transformed thousands of flat multicoloured scouring pads and elastic bands into worm like creatures, hybrids threatening to contaminate the space of the gallery. The installation challenged stereotypes about women's work and reflected my continuous interest in the issue arising out of domestic labour, its monotony, oppression and frustration.
