I believe there are similarities in our search for the spiritual and the urge to understand the origin of our universe. The standard model, a mathematical formula which explains how the basic building blocks of matter interact does not explain everything.
In this work I wanted to create a sense of slices through space, almost a dissection of landscape – an awareness of other dimensions and that within each slice of space we can only see a tiny proportion of what is there. I chose to use circles - a slice through a sphere - the shape considered most perfect.
