Collage which holds an older sketch of a walk in Cumbria as memento . Collage of sketch, drawing from memory, exploring dis-location and power of memory and desire. The drawing/ collage links images of past landscapes experienced in place with a different place from where the memory is evocatively re-drawing and assembled. Feathers of cockatiels as tokens of the presence poetically link the now with the past. Trompe l'oeil of feather punning image and reality - mimesis, memory and melancholy.
