The mixed media drawing is a sketch of detail of an old railway wagon coupling drawn onto a rusted sheet of metal at Florence Mine Arts Centre in Egremont,West Cumbria.As well as incorporating charcoal and chalk I used Iron ore taken from the ground around me to enhance the rusty effect.Florence Mine was the last working Iron Ore mine in West Cumbria.
