The mixed media intervention was installed around a capstan on Whitehaven Harbour in West Cumbria in October 2017.The artwork is comprised of outlines of species of Irish Sea fish drawn onto peeled off pop bottle labels. The labels curl up like the "Fortune Teller " fish found in Christmas Crackers and were cut out and adhered to the capstan. The temporary artwork reflects on the environmental concerns about plastic waste being ingested by fish. The only imports to the Harbour nowadays seems to be an never ending influx of sea borne plastic waste washed up on the local beaches.
