Free Bob Party, 1994

In 1994 I became the "unofficial" photographer for the Church of the Sub-Genius in Brighton and was invited to photograph one of the very first "Free Bob Party" at Ovingdead in Brighton. Later that same year the British Government introduced the "Criminal Justice Bill" that made such gatherings illegal. This photograph was included in Seaside: Photographed curated by Val Williams and Karen Shepherdson, a touring exhibition organized by Turner Contemporary
