Injured British Iraq War Veteran, 2006

As part of my body of work on British military discourses, from 2003 to 2008, I photographed British soldiers that had been seriously injured in Iraq and Afghanistan. This photograph was later used in the Sunday Times Magazine for a feature that coincided with the 25 anniversary of the Falklands War, where I was given access to the three Combat Stress facilities, in Surrey, Newport and Scotland.
