///glorified.clearing.discusses
///glorified.clearing.discusses is the what3words location of an area of scrubland in Suffolk, UK. This is a scrubby herbarium. A collection of plants gathered after observing plants in scrubland pressed and arranged between the glass of 35mm slide mounts.
As an undergraduate art student in 1985, I made an installation with 80 slide ‘drawings’ using autumn leaf-fall, rubbish from my pockets and found seed husks pressed between the glass of 35mm slide mounts. Now, nearly 40 years later I am making a new series using that technique.
