The exhibtion ‘Go’, 2026 consisted of three custom made sculptures hung on the walls of the gallery Friends & Family in Bordeaux, France. For the exhibition the three gallerists were instructed to each produce a survival kit for themselves. Amassing supplies potentially allowing them to subsist for 72 hours away from home in case of emergency. The chosen items were based upon the gallerist’s personal circumstances, geographical location and their own research. It was up to their discretion whether they used bags and supplies that were already in their possession, or if they newly purchased or sourced the components to make up the kits. They were instructed that the bags and items held within them were not tampered with throughout the duration of the exhibition, and that they should remain sealed so that the contents were not viewable. The works were hung on storage hooks at a readily accessible height; to give the impression they could be easily grabbed off the wall.
'Go (for Paul Blot)' was exhibited as part of my exhibtion ‘Go’, at Friends & Family in Bordeaux, France. The exhibition ran from 4th - 28th February 2026.
