Grow Your Own

Shot on 35mm, this photograph of my cousin portrays the awkward limbo of adolescence, the in-between phase of growing up and searching for belonging. It reflects how belonging can be connected to identity and the relationships that give our lives meaning. My work explores manmade environments, and I document the people and objects that inhabit them, creating narratives around the everyday and the overlooked.
