Habitat- under our feet — Miniature Installation / Solo Exhibition
A series of small-scale installation works exploring a living environment, archive, and imagined habitat beneath our feet. Habitat transforms the familiar form of a travelling trunk into an intimate exhibition space, creating miniature worlds where collected materials, memories, and landscapes coexist.
By working at this scale, the pieces question ideas of ownership, preservation, and place, asking how an entire environment can be contained, carried, and reimagined. Each miniature habitat combines found natural materials, organic fragments, and constructed elements to create a dialogue between human-made spaces and the natural world.
Through this process of collecting, arranging, and preserving, the work explores themes of transformation, fragility, and care, presenting the exhibition space not only as a place where art is made, but as a living ecosystem that can exist anywhere.
