I am searching for making work that is arresting and draws the viewer into every space on the canvas. I know every area so well as I work and rework each part into the whole until the painting arrives.
More recently I am using stronger secondary colours, as seen here, with orange complimenting blues and warm greys. In this painting I've employed palette knife work with the majority of the application of paint.
