He gave to the rocks an echoing chore

By Kate Bell 2019

Dimensions
74 cm x 74 cm

The title of the painting comes from a line in a Vernon Watkin's poem. The metaphysical poet explored the land and seascape of the Gower Coast. This painting is based on studies from sea rock surfaces, cracks and crevices creating portals, on Rotherslade beach.
