Installation on the lawn at chaNorth residency 2018, NY, USA. Thank you ChaShaMa.
Coloured flag tape/barrier tape is arranged on the central lawn. When still the mood of the work is light, joyful, suggesting dancing, a celebration or party, linking to the Open Studio event, the colours reflecting the autumnal trees surrounding the work. Associations include a landscape of hills or mountains, writing, folk dancing, sound/light waves, a heart monitor, the rhythm of the place. Wind moving the tapes dramatically changes their shape, flattening curves, crossing out texts, adding more wildness and strangeness to the work.
